Ingram Micro announced Friday that it has named Lisa Locklear to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer. Locklear joined the company in 2003 and had been acting CFO since September. North America President Keith Bradley, to whom Locklear will report, described her in a statement as “a seasoned finance executive with more than two decades of experience in corporate finance and business operations.” The promotion of Locklear is described by the company as an opportunity to strengthen its “executive bench.”

Synnex Hires Ex-Ingram President Murai

The distributor Synnex announced Monday that it has hired Kevin Murai, the former president and CEO of Ingram Micro, as its co-CEO. According to CRN.com’s ChannelWeb, Murai will serve alongside the company’s longtime CEO, Bob Huang, until Huang retires in November. The tech distribution giant Ingram Micro announced this week that it will unveil a new consumer brand, called V7, at International CES in Las Vegas next month. The brand will consist of LCD TVs and monitors, as well as GPS devices and digital picture frames. Accessories, such as cables, wall mounts and carrying cases, will be part of the line as line.
