Once again, CustomRetailer requested that some of our industry's most famous manufacturers report back to us their findings from the ISE (Integrated Systems Europe) event. Held in early February, ISE was located at the RAI in Amsterdam. Despite chilly temperatures, including daily snow and ice, over 28,000 integrators attended.

Da-Lite Screen Company on Friday announced that it has named Dan Drook to the newly created position of vice president of home theater sales. KA Marketing announced this week that it has reached a deal to represent Wolf Cinema in several Southwestern states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Flinn represents the upper Midwest, plains states and Manitoba, while Scruti represents several Western states. The awards were handed out at the company’s annual awards dinner in Las Vegas, coinciding with InfoComm 2008. In addition, Da-Lite announced that eight of its sales executives have attained the LEED AP certification, which is awarded by the U.S. Green Building Council. Those getting the certification, which stands for “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design,” are the aforementioned Scruti, sales partner Dan Kramer, architectural specialist
