Universal Remote Control is making the tracking of returns from dealers as easy as it is to track a FedEx or UPS shipment.
The company has just announced a new online Return Goods Authorization (RGA) tool that offers status updates in real time – and promises to streamline the returns process for URC dealer partners.
Previously, when retailers wanted to check the status of returns, they had to contact URC Tech Support for an update.
Now, after dealers log into http://www.urcmx.com/release/RA/rgastatus.html and type in the RGA number, the new 24/7 system offers step-by-step data on when the RGA number was opened, when the merchandise was received, when it was shipped by UPS or FedEx (including the tracking number), and when the process has been completed.
