Capitol Sales Instructor is CEDIA-Certified
Capitol Sales Co. announced announced Monday that its instructor, Mike Marko, has become the first in the company to earn CEDIA certification. Marko, who joined the company in 2002, is now certified to teach the CEDIA University Core curriculum.
“This process is a critical step toward validating CEDIA University courses on the worldwide certification stage,” CEDIA’s Director of Technical Training at CEDIA, Jeff Gardner, said as part of the announcement. “By training and certifying our volunteer instructors, we ensure that our core curriculum is always delivered in an accurate and professional manner. As we update and fine-tune our courses, we must also make sure our instructors are the very best. We are always pleased to add someone of Mike’s caliber to our team.”
Electrograph Launches Christmas Promotion
Electrograph Systems on Monday announced the start its of 12 Days of Christmas 12 Ways to Save and Win promotion, which runs through Dec. 23. Described by the company as an antidote to “blizzard-like economic conditions.”
Each day, Electrograph will feature a single vendor and offer a deal from them; participants include Sony, Pioneer, Epson, NEC, Panasonic, LG, Philips and Hitachi. A $1,500 prize will be given away each day as well, with partners making purchases $5,000 and above being eligible to win.
EDGE Launches Holiday Catalog
The EDGE Distributors Group this week launched its new 16-page holiday catalog. The catalog, which is geared mostly towards custom install and residential systems integrators, includes offerings from such names as Anthony Gallo Acoustics, Aspire RF, DLO, Furman, NEC, NūVision, Peerless Mounts, Planet Waves, Sanus Systems, Straight Wire, Tripp Lite, Universal Remote Control, ViewSonic, Wi-Ex and Xantech.

DSI Systems last week announced the launch of its new Web site, at www.dsisystemsinc.com The new site will feature a new look and feel, easier access to catalog information, improved navigation, and unique dealer log-ins. Other features, including online shopping carts, dealer-specific pricing and more, will be incorporated next year.
