Barretts Home Theater of Naperville and Algonquin, Ill.

An A+ Job

Barretts was chosen due to their soup-to-nuts success story on customer John Underwood’s home theater.
A CustomRetailer interview with Mr. Underwood concluded with his comment, “I am a very demanding
customer. I will be the first on the phone if there is a problem on a job at my house. These guys [Barretts], were incredible. From start to finish they were professional all the way and never let us down. Even when one of the guys, Dave, cut his finger, left to go get stitches and returned to finish the job!”

Congratulations Barretts!

Joe,

The installation of my new home theater is now complete. It is working as promised and is a pleasure to watch. Your team did an outstanding job from start to finish on this project.

Rob Lubas, to whom you referred me, was the point person. He was, without exception, prompt at returning my phone calls and e-mails and always helpful. He always seems to have the customer (me) in mind and always tried to accommodate me (our first meeting was at my house on Rob’s day off!). He also was honest about timing, cost and process. And, he stayed with me for the entire project. No shuffling me off to a third person like you’d typically find at other retailers or installers.

The delivery guys, TJ and Terrell, arrived on time and respectful of our home—didn’t have to be asked to take off their shoes or wear shoe covers. They were more than happy to move an old TV from my basement to the garage. Great attitude and no griping whatsoever.

The installers were Dave Daly and Doug Rowley. They were in our home all day and were actually fun to chat with and I learned a lot about my system and home theater in general just by peppering them with questions—which they did not seem to mind although I’m sure they tired of it at some point. Dave cut his finger and left for stitches but returned after a couple of hours to help finish the job! Now that is something you don’t see too often. Doug was particularly helpful and obviously knowledgeable about the products. More importantly, he really seems to take pride in his work and that gave me a lot of confidence that everything would be done right—the first time.
